The not so sweet 'Twilight' fame of Robert Pattinson
The British actor, Robert Pattinson, catapulted to fame from his starring role of the dazzling vampire Edward Cullen of Stephenie Meyer's bestsellers Twilight. And now the 23 y.o. actor tasted the bitter dose of his soaring fame.
Recently the Twilight star hit by a taxi cab while filming his new movie Remember Me in New York.
Some of the teen girls were hysterical and Rob rushed across the road. As he did so, a taxi grazed him. The cabbie slammed on his brakes as soon as he realized what had happened.
It appeared as if the cab hit Rob in the hip. He stood there for a moment looking stunned. The bodyguard next to him checked if he was okay and then screamed at the fans: "You see what you did, you almost killed him!" ( From Radar online news)
Ashley Greene in Nylon Magazine commented On Rob Pattinson’s fame: "Oh God. Poor Rob is already a Beatle. His whole life is documented. If he picks his nose, it's all over th Internet"
If Stephenie Meyer gave birth to Edward Cullen character, obviously Robert Pattinson, Rpattz as dubbed by media who made Edward Cullen.
Raving fans and tireless followers pushed Robert Pattinson to limelight, yet unintentionally pulled him to a near accident.
Undoubtedly, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart propelled to stardom based on the reverberating shout of reception by Twilight fans since the first installment of Twilight Saga in theaters last year. The second sequel New Moon is yet to be released November this year and it shows the excitement among Twilight followers. Same thing with the third movie Eclipse to be directed by David Slade.
Stephenie Meyer's book series truly capture the readers' attention from all ages and enthralled them to Twilight zone - world of vampires, werewolves and fantasy of modern day Romeo and Julie romance in realization of human Bella Swan and immortal Edward Cullen.
