Manny Pacquiao “ Battle of East and West “ winning victory


No doubt Manny Pacquaio is the Filipino hero of our modern era. He’s not in the battle against country’s enemy, yet in his every fight he carries with the armor of a true blooded warrior. The fiery confidence and full-spirited desire to win thus bring forth the honor for our country.

Before he was a teenager, Manny Pacquaio was selling cigarettes on the streets of Manila trying to survive. Now he is a Filipino hero and superstar on the verge of making boxing history.

The 30-year-old southpaw will face British Ricky Hatton on Saturday (Sunday in Manila) for the Englishman’s junior welterweight title. A Pacquaio victory would match him for the all-time record of world crowns in six different weight divisions.

At the ring Manny Pacquiao always humble himself to dedicate his boxing fight for people's enjoyment and happiness. He points out that his victory is Philippine's victory as well.
